Delete the Amplify app

Section titled “Delete the Amplify app”
  1. AWS Console → Amplify → your lab app
  2. App settings → General → Delete app (wording may vary)
  3. Confirm deletion

This removes:

  • main and staging hosting
  • Any remaining PR preview
    Temporary Amplify hosting URL created for a pull request so you can review the built site before merge.     hosts
  • Build history for that app

Optional GitHub cleanup

Section titled “Optional GitHub cleanup”
  • Delete feature branches you no longer need
  • Keep or delete the amplify-astro-cicd repository - your choice
  • You can leave the Amplify GitHub App installed for future labs, or remove app access to this repo under GitHub → Settings → Applications

This walkthrough docs site is unrelated to the Amplify app teardown. It stays on GitHub Pages.

See Cost. A same-day create and delete is typically a negligible Hosting bill if you are not running huge builds.
